The Dilettante's Garden
 Americana Through Poet
ic Form

Like earlier collections, the title, "The Dilettante's Garden," is taken from a poem within. This book contains 51 poems and matching photographs in various classic poetic formats. Included throughout the collection are various themes, such as nature and comparable human states, as well as a few whimsical pieces.

Jack derives inspiration for poetry from his photographs.  While traveling throughout his present home state, Jack visited many Kansas towns, lakes and rolling plains.  There has been no shortage of photogenic views.

Some locations highlighted in "The Dilettante's Garden":

  • Wichita and Rural, Kansas
  • Kansas City and Rural, Missouri
