"Aspects Long Forgotten" by Jack Huber
(review written March 11th, 2010)

It is a rapturous romance; romance between poetry and photography, and what a match!

Jack’s poetry and photographs are unfolding pictures, in real time, with colors, sounds, smells, et al, there is an urge to touch them to see if they spring magically to life.

His topics encompass a whole array of subjects; his humorous take of life is subtle.  The ordinary visualized as by the poet, becomes a thing of beauty and nature ethereal, evoking multitude of emotions in the reader.

The font, the photographs are well spaced and sized.  There is nothing better I would like to do on a cold wintry afternoon then to sit back with this masterpiece, to feast and savor each written word, each photograph, at my leisure.

His introduction and explanation of poetic forms are succinctly detailed and simple to understand.

My personal favorites are The Photographer as I can relate it with the author and The Flamingoes, ‘a daydream’s back yard' ’is all grace.

Jack Huber’s Aspects Long Forgotten, is a visual treat of portraits in words and poetry in photos, a combination which transcends the ordinary to the sublime.  A must read and a must have, it has to be on the wish list of any lover of art and poetry.
