The title, "Trappings of the Years," is taken from a poem within. This collection is Jack Huber's first to be published and describes his views of Americana, whether he is experiencing winter, his first visit to Monument Valley, or whimsical souvenirs in Las Vegas. As an ekphrastic poet, Jack derives inspiration for poetry from his photographs, taken in his homes and visits in Washington State, England, Florida, Nevada, and many places in between.
