by Quentin R. Stewart, Jr. (5 out of 5 stars) This is an excerpt. "This is my introduction to Pat Ruger and he has become one of my favorite private investigators. He knows how to use all of the modern tools that makes investigations easier then just beating the pavement and interviewing people. He has suffered losses in the past and he is troubled by the ones that he has not been able to save. "This case starts with the murder of a Korean poet that his girlfriend has befriended. Though not sure of his relationship standing with her Pat agrees to look into the case. He barely gets started when the CIA approaches him and asks him to be their eyes in Seattle to help clear up the murder case and to look into a North Korean ring of spies. While wondering about the rain in Seattle and missing Denver, Pat and his employee are discovered by the Koreans and have to run to save themselves. "I plan on looking up the first four Pat Ruger mysteries so I can get more background on this private investigator."
