I take a lot of photos that I find interesting or otherwise appealing in some way, but every once in a while I'm physically drawn to an image. This is one of those photos, a pic I am looking forward to getting applied to a black t-shirt. This isn't Hawaii, or even a California beach. Welcome to Yuma, Arizona, where if you don't adore the sunset in front of you, there's always tomorrow night.
Sometimes I look at this pic and wonder if that's what Jupiter would look like if it were spinning in the background. The white and gray spot in the clouds were the one place the sun shone directly, the rest taking advantage of the thick atmosphere at just the right angle to provide its rainbow palate.
