On the lower east coast of Lake Michigan is a town on what is called the "Riviera of the Midwest," St. Joseph. This Michigan port town is one of many growing resort communities in the region and is peppered with remarkable sand dune formations and lined with a lush countryside. The evening and sunset views of the St. Joseph North Pier Outer Lighthouse at the mouth of the St. Joseph River are remarkable and I couldn't help snapping a few of my own shots. The incoming fisherman made this one of my favorites.
