For over a thousand miles along the west coast shoreline are a variety of flowers seemingly enjoying an ocean view. These primroses are no exception. This photo was taken from the cliffs off Highway 1, north of the Monterey/Carmel region of Central California's wine coast, overlooking Monterey Bay. We spent four glorious months in 2019 exploring the California and Oregon coastline -- I highly recommend this drive.
