Well, I did it.
Without a sound room. I recorded my first podcast. I've been trying to get this going for about three weeks. Between a family and the noise of an active RV resort, it's been tough. With many people out to shop on Black Friday, I had enough quiet to get a recording made. This first podcast is to address one of the questions most often asked of me, how I manage to write and publish my novels. I do have a process and I'm pleased to share it. Maybe this will lend some insight into the profession of writing for aspiring authors Maybe it will help readers understand what-all goes into writing a book. Maybe neither, but I'm hopeful. A couple of quick notes... My wife, Nadyne, graciously recorded my intro, which you will hear on each podcast in the near future. Also, my songwriting partner, Christopher Gordon, and I wrote the song I'm using in the intro and outro. You can find the complete song on Youtube: An Eerie Calm Before the Night Just remember, I'm not polished yet, as you will hear, but I can only get better by continuing to record episodes right? I would be grateful for your support. Please hit the Like button and leave a comment if you enjoy my effort. Thanks!

Even having watched him through his process, hearing him walk through it was very interesting!

Great podcast. I love to hear other’s writing process. The introduction was hard to focus on Nadine and the song. I wanted to hear both. Maybe just do the music from the song so we can focus on the introduction. I’m interested to hear more on backstory for character introductions to keep each novel in a series a stand alone. I also like that your podcast is short. Most people have busy lives and long podcast rarely get listened to by me. Short and to the point. I love it!

Interesting to hear how a man "on the road" puts it all together and gets his efforts out to the masses!!! I would agree with the comment suggesting to turn down the music volume on the introduction and just go instrumental...The end of the podcast to come back with the song in its totallity!!! Looking forward to more! Thanks
